NEW ADVENTURES

Five plus years has been long enough for not writing anything on this Blog! (With the advent of Facebook blogs have become somewhat redundant) Needless to say much has happen during that time, a little too much to go into great detail.  So here is the short version.

1) Located back to my home town of Waldwick, NJ for about 14 months 2009-10 Helped settle my mother's estate and drove for my brother Dave's cab company while taking occasional gigs working at the meadowlands with brother Mike doing concert set ups & tear downs.  Afterwards it was back to Gainesville, FL doing home repair & remodeling & keeping busy in a local church.

2) In 2011 the Lord put it on my heart to go back to school and attend Rhema Bible College in Broken Arrow, OK. It seem the Lord wanted me to go, not just for additional Bible knowledge, but for spiritual impartation.  This continued for two years with a summer trip back to the Philippines & a side trip to Viet Nam in-between 1st & 2nd year. I Graduated May of 2013

3) I joined World Outreach Church(WOC), Tulsa in 2013 and to this day have served as an Usher and other volunteer positions. My time there has also included attending Domata school of Ministry accompanied with the Love of my live Alma Romasanta.... which brings us to a major life changing event.

4) On July 26, 2014 Alma Romasanta became Alma Rutler, my wife, my best friend, my lover, my playmate, my travel companion and soon to be my mission partner.

Alma was born and raised as a child in the Philippines, but has not returned to her native land for some 40+ years now. We have been planning a trip back for an extended stay and for ministry purposes.  We trust this will come in God's perfect time as we make long term plans and begin the process of support raising for full time missions work.

In the meantime I have been asked to join a mission construction team heading out from WOC to Romania November 8-15.  We will be raising a barn for the all important fall harvest there, plus work on ministry facilities.

If any would like partner with us, either finacially or in prayer on either of these endeavors please connect me via email at rrutler@gmail.com
You can contact me for PayPal acct. info as well

UPDATE 10/5/14
Follow up Praise report!  Someone at Church handed Alma a check for the entire amount needed for the Romania trip.  We are just blown away by God's quick and abundant blessings.

Any funds received after this will go toward our Philippine trip in the spring & for the time being have to go through us personally & will not be eligible for tax exemption.   Funds/support for future mission trip can't go through our Church at the moment until proper accounting procedure are set up.

Blessings to you, Russ & Alma
